Il sito è USAFIS ed ho dato un numero di telefono che regolarmente non uso giusto perchè era richiesto per continuare, quando ho visto la richiesta del numero di carta di credito ho chiuso tutto.

La telefonata è arrivata puntualmente mezz'oretta dopo il mio ingresso nel sito e mi hanno richiamato una decina di minuti fa; alle mie richieste (per pura curiosità visto che anche online in America c'è una "bella pubblicità" su questa agenzia) del motivo per cui richiedano il numero di carta di credito rispondono (sempre in maniera molto gentile e comprensibile) che loro non chiedono soldi per la green card, ma solo perchè operano da tramite ed aiutano facendo da tramite tra l'immigrante ed il governo, comunque sia appena gli ho detto che ho fatto domanda gratuitamente direttamente dal sito governativo hanno ringraziato e non mi han creato nemmeno problemi quando gli ho detto di cancellare il mio nominativo dai loro elenchi.

Lo scrivo giusto per dare qualche info in più a coloro che ci avranno a che fare, io fortunatamente sono italiano e sono ancora restio quando vedo il disegnino della MasterCard comparire su internet quando so che non dovrebbe esserci...

mi hanno chiamato 2 volte, la prima volta in inglese e la seconda in italiano!

Pe chiudere le 2 telefonate, ho detto che mi avevano fatto uno scherzo durante una festa e che il modulo lo avevano compilato dei miei amici dal web perchè sapevano che volevo andare a vivere lì!

e poi non hanno più chiamato!!!!!

L'iscrizione alla DV Lottery e' assolutamente gratuita, nel caso in cui si venga sorteggiati la GC non viene rialsciata il giorno successivo... Dal momento in cui si fa l'applicazione al momento in cui si ottione la GC passa come minimo 1-2 anni. bisogna andare attraverso una serie di interviste presso il consolato, visite mediche, ovviamente pagare tutte le fees richieste dal governo che penso si aggirino attorno $800-$900 ed aspettare che il lento "meccanismo" dell'immigrazione faccia il suo corso...

Esistono agenzie private che per presentare la domanda per conto vostro si fanno pagare. Solitamente le persone pensano, o suddette agenzie fanno credere, che rivolgendosi a loro e pagando si ottiene automaticamente la GC: ASSOLUTAMENTE FALSO!

Ci sono poi altri tipi di organizzazioni completamente truffaldine che tramite phishing o SE giocando sulla speranza e ingenuita' delle persone cercano letteralmente di estorcere denaro.

State certi che il governo americano non chiedera' mai di effettuare un pagamento tramite WU ad un funzionario dell'ambasciata in UK!

Inoltre USCIS non chiama chiedendo il numero della carta di credito o facendo dei raggiri al fine di ottenere informazioni sensibili tramite le quali ottenere denaro indebitamente (SE). Tutte le comunicazioni ufficiali da parte di USCIS avvengono tramite posta ordinaria.

Per concludere, giusto per evitare false illusioni, se qualcuno partecipa alla DVL e ha la fortuna di concludere tutto il processo ed ottenere la GC, il governo americano non offre nessun lavoro, tantomeno case o appartamenti dove vivere! L'unica cosa offerta e' la GC che, in accordo con USCIS, e' il privilegio di vivere e lavorare in US.
