Avrei pensato di prenotare una Compact (2 adulti e 3 bambini) ed eventualmente passare ad un segmento superiore, se necessario e/o opportuno, in loco.

Una domanda: l'estensione rc aumentata a valori consoni è sempre inclusa ?

PAYMENT: Debit cards: Debit card only accepted at time of rental when presented with the return flight segment of a round trip airline ticket. Return segment can be presented in the form of the actual ticket or an electronic ticket. At time of rental the counter representative will take a copy of the presented document and attach to the original rental document retained at the location. Valid drivers license and debit card must be in the same name. Debit card must have available funds of $250.00 plus total estimated rental charges. Available on rental of vehicle classes Economy thru Full Size and Mini Van only.

NOTE: Unused funds will be returned through the credit card processor after vehicle return. Due to bank processing it can take up to 14 days to appear back on your account when using this form of payment.

Major credit cards: Valid drivers license and credit card must be in the same name. Credit card must have available funds of $150.00 or estimated amount of rental charges whichever is greater. At time of rental credit card funds will be taken as a deposit against rental charges.

NOTE: We do not accept the miniature key tag style credit cards.

NOTE: Unused funds will be returned through the credit card processor after vehicle return. Due to bank processing it can take between 2 to 5 days to appear back on your account when using this form of payment.

Cash rentals: In order to utilize CASH (as opposed to major credit card) as a qualifying Method of Payment at Time of Rental, the following conditions must be satisfied:

1. Have a reservation - Available on rental of vehicle class Economy thru Full Size only.

2. Present a current valid Passport from a country other than the United States.

3. Present a valid International License along with a current valid license from same country as passport.

4. Present a return airline itinerary with confirmation of return travel date. Vehicle must be returned prior to return date and time of departure as stated on flight confirmation itinerary.

5. In U.S. currency, leave a Cash Deposit of $250.00 plus estimated amount of rental charges.

6. A U.S. Contact Phone Number - an operating phone to be contacted in case of emergency while the vehicle is on rent.

7. Unused funds will be mailed back to customer which may take up to 2 weeks after return.

Prepaid cards: Prepaid Visa/MasterCard are not accepted as a form of payment at time of rental.

Payment at car return: Debit cards, prepaid Visa/MasterCard, and cash always accepted as payment upon return

Special/Premium Elite Vehicles: May be available and would require a major credit card with available funds of USD/250.00 plus the estimated charges taken as deposit at time for rental - no debit / check cards or cash rentals. Minimum age is 25 and vehicles must be returned to the renting location.

SHUTTLE: Upon arrival, proceed outside to the center island, under the Rental Car purple sign. The shuttle runs every 8-15 minutes from 5 A.M. to 2 A.M. For shuttle service between 2 A.M. and 5 A. M. call the office at 1-800-225-4369 ext. 3 or call the location dialing 50 from baggage claim area using the courtesy phone. Fox rent a car is located approx. 1 mile from the airport.

INSURANCE: Optional Insurance not required to rent a vehicle. Details available at rental counter.

Rental liability coverage: (RLP) Primary insurance protecting you against claims made by third party for bodily injury and/or property damage sustained while operating the rental vehicle, up to the required financial responsibility limits of the state in which the vehicle is rented. Does not cover all situations that may arise while operating a rental vehicle. Cost: $12.99 per rental day.

Supplemental Liability Coverage (SLP) This coverage is excess over underlying insurance specific within your signed rental agreement up to 1,000,000 dollars. Protects you against claims made by third party for bodily injury and/or property damage sustained as a result of an accident while operating the rental vehicle. Does not cover all situations that may arise while operating a rental vehicle. Cost: $11.99 per rental day.

Personal Property/Personal Accident Coverage (PPC) Personal property coverage protects against damage to personal effects owned by the renter, as well as immediate family members of the renter, who permanently reside in the renters household and are traveling with the renter. Personal accident coverage provides accidental death and accidental medical expense benefit to the renter and their passenger (s). The death and medical expense benefit will both pay in addition to any other coverage that might be applicable to the renter or passengers. Cost: $7.99 per rental day.

Loss Damage Waiver FOX offers to all renters LDW, Loss Damage Waiver, which for an additional daily charge relieves the renter of all financial responsibility for the loss or damage to the rental car, as long as the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms of the Rental Agreement. Cost: Economy, compact, midsize, standard, and full size $9.00 per rental day / SUV, minivan, convertibles, luxury, premium, specialty $15.00 per rental day.

Roadside Assistance Program (RSA) If you purchase our Roadside Service Assistance (RSA) we will waive all, or a portion of, the cost of a roadside assistance service call up to the amount of $400.00 per incident. You may purchase RSA at $2.99 per rental day. Benefits include emergency road service towing, winching, jump start, flat tire change, lockout service, and emergency fuel delivery. Some restrictions apply ask for a copy of an RSA brochure at the rental counter.

Mexico Insurance FOX offers the purchase of Mexico Insurance (Major credit card only) on vehicle rentals of economy thru full size only. Mexico insurance must be purchased at a FOX location in Los Angeles, San Diego or Phoenix ONLY at the time of rental or after it, but prior to travel to Mexico. Rates start at $25.00 per 24 hour day including tax. Hybrids and other vehicles not allowed traveling into Mexico. Travel is allowed to cities in Mexico close to California and Arizona border.

CANCELLATION: If your reservation was confirmed directly with FOX Rent A Car by utilizing the reservation call center at 1-800-225-4369, or through the FOX Rent A Car web page at http://www.foxrentacar.com, please use the same source to cancel your reservation. FOX does not charge a cancellation fee, but does request such cancellation notice as soon as travel plans have changed.

If your reservation was confirmed through another provider (booking site, outside source, etc.), please use the same source to cancel your reservation. Some providers (booking site, outside source, etc.) may charge for the cancellation of a reservation if not cancelled within a specific time frame.Cancellation of a reservation directly thru FOX Rent A Car when confirmed thru another provider, may not relieve your responsibility with that provider. In order to alleviate such charges (cancellation fee or penalty) check with the provider and cancel the reservation directly with the provider.

HONOR RESERVATIONS: Reservations will be honored for a period of three hours after the confirmed pick up date and time.

EARLY LATE RETURN - Your confirmed rental rate applies only to the exact reservation period specified. Returning the vehicle early or keeping the vehicle past the confirmed return date subjects you to a higher daily and/or weekly charge as follow:

Late return: The rate will increase by $10 per day for the extension period only.

Early return: The rate will increase by $10 per day not to exceed the original total amount of rental.

MULTIPLE or DUPLICATE RESERVATIONS - If you require multiple vehicles for the same or overlapping time periods, please make sure to use a different name for each reservation, otherwise the duplicate name reservation will automatically be cancelled. FOX will not be responsible for any cancelled reservations.

EQUIPMENT: In California, state laws require children six years of age or younger less than 60 pounds in weight to be in a child restraint device. If the seat is not returned in the same condition, less normal wear and tear as received, a cleaning fee will be assessed. If the seat is damage a repair or replacement charge will be applied.

RULES: Airport concession fee and tourism assessment fee Pursuant to California law, starting January 1, 2007, all rentals will be charged an airport concession fee of up to 11.1% and a tourism assessment fee 2.5%. Actual charges will be calculated at the time of rental.

NOTE - The Office of Tourism has determined that the passenger car rental industry tourism assessment rate will adjust to 0.035 (3.5%) for all revenue earned between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2010.

Los Angeles World Airport fee (LAWA) Effective July 01, 2007, rentals from LAX will be assessed the LAWA fee of USD$10.00 per rental.

Miles Rental rates are unlimited miles.

Extensions To extend the rental agreement, customers must contact the location. If vehicle is kept longer than the return date stated on the rental agreement (contract), the rate will increase by $10.00 per day. The increased rate will be charged for each day after due return date, until the vehicle is returned.

Drop off If vehicle is returned to a different office as stated on the rental agreement (contract), renter will be charged the current one-way drop fee.

Length of rental Rental agreements (contract) cannot be assigned for a period longer than 30 days. If you have reserved the vehicle for a longer period of time, you must go into the location prior to the 31st day and renew the rental agreement (contract). The rate booked is guaranteed for the original duration of the reservation. Returns earlier or later than the return date on the reservation will be subject to a higher daily rate.

Grace period A rental day is each 24 hour time period commencing with the date/time indicated on the rental agreement (contract) at the time of rental. There is a 59 minutes grace period for return. Hourly charges may apply after this grace period. After three hours full-day charge may apply.

Rental Requirements All renters/drivers will be required, at the time of rental, to supply: A valid drivers license (U.S., Canadian or international licenses with a valid passport are accepted), current home address (not P.O.Box), a current home phone number, and second contact phone number (cell or business).
